BUSINAR · PRIVACY POLICY
Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Businar, operated by Sancar Software & Development, processes data when you use the Businar website, web application, and Android application.
1. Data we process
We process the data needed to provide a business-management workspace. Depending on the features you use, this may include:
- account and contact details, such as your name, email address, role, and password-verification data; and, if you choose to use the public contact form, the name, email address, phone number, and message you submit;
- business details, including business name, currency, subscription requests, and the settings you enter;
- business records you choose to enter, such as products, barcodes, stock, sales, customer and account records, payment references, support requests, and e-commerce connection settings;
- security and technical data, such as session data, audit records, browser or app state needed to secure access, and limited network-security signals; and
- only when you grant the relevant device permission: camera data used to scan a barcode, notification permission and a device push token used for notifications, or a file that you explicitly select for import.
Passwords are stored as password-verification data rather than displayed as plaintext. Camera access is requested only for a barcode-scanning action, and selected import files are validated for the requested import flow.
2. Why we use data
We use data to create and secure accounts, keep each business workspace separate, provide sales, stock, customer, reporting, and subscription features, respond to support and contact requests, prevent abuse, maintain backups, and meet applicable legal obligations.
3. Sharing and access
We do not sell personal data or use advertising networks in the Businar application. Business data is available to the members of the relevant business according to their roles. Platform support may access information only when it is necessary to operate or support the service and within the applicable access controls.
We may use infrastructure and delivery providers that are necessary to run the service. If you enable a connection to an external e-commerce service or choose an email-delivery or file-import feature, the relevant data is handled by that provider for that enabled feature.
4. Security
Businar uses encrypted HTTPS connections, role-based access checks, protected session handling, and audit records for critical actions. No system can guarantee absolute security, so you should also protect your password and only grant team access that is necessary for the role.
5. Retention and deletion
We retain account and business data while it is needed to operate the workspace, maintain security and backups, resolve support matters, or meet legal recordkeeping obligations. When data is no longer needed for these purposes, it is deleted or anonymised in line with the applicable process.
You can request deletion of your Businar account and associated personal data through the account-deletion process. Some business, financial, security, or audit records may need to be retained where required by law or to protect the service; we explain any such limitation when confirming a request.
Read the account-deletion process →6. Your choices and privacy questions
You can review and update business data through the features available to your role. For privacy questions, access concerns, or a deletion request, sign in to your business panel and submit a support request through the “Report a problem” area. This provides a way to verify that the requester is authorised for the relevant business.
7. Children
Businar is a business-management service and is not directed to children.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the service or legal requirements change. The current version is always available at this address, with its revision date shown above.
